Resumen

El objetivo del artículo es presentar un panorama general sobre tres campos temáticos que permitan la renovación de los estudios sobre clase social y desigualdad social en la sociología contemporánea: fronteras simbólicas, espacio urbano y redes sociales. El artículo se inscribe en una perspectiva relacional y de clases sociales en el estudio de las desigualdades. Además, propone que es a partir de los debates sobre sistemas de clasificación y diferenciación que estas tres áreas temáticas permiten recuperar la centralidad de la categoría de clase social.

Se ha desempeñado como consultor e investigador para instituciones públicas y privadas a nivel nacional e internacional.
